Before surgery I was taking three blood pressure pills and medication for diabetes. My weight was keeping me from enjoying life.

I waited and did research because I wanted to be 100 percent ready and informed. When my primary care provider added another blood pressure medication I decided it was time.

Dr Doucette made me feel comfortable and we discussed all options and helped pick what would be the best option for me. He didn’t try to persuade me into something I didn’t want to do. His nurses and the dietitians are excellent and very informative.

Since surgery, I’m off all medication. I have enjoyed the summer with hiking. I feel like I can be me again!
